ROBERT LAMPL

LAMPL--Robert. Robert Lampl was the son of the late Alice Geis Lampl and Joseph Lampl, the brother of Peggy Lampl (deceased) and Joan Freeman, the very proud father of Bill Lampl (Kathleen Clifford) and adored grandpa of Lauren Lampl and Benjamin Lampl. Longtime resident of Rye and Mamaroneck, Bob loved gardening and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time on Captiva Island, Florida, where his passion for seafood, boating and fishing flourished. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving as a sergeant. A "picker of the unusual," he had a penchant for buying and selling unique pieces of jewelry including a special fondness of time pieces of all sorts. Bob had a collector's eye and a tinkerer's touch. Throughout his life, Bob made friends easily and was adored by those who knew him.
