I worked for Mr. Larson the year after I graduated Scotch Plains High in 1969. I started in Union and moved with them to Plainfield. I remember Mr. Larson was a kind and fair man and still have fond memories of working there. I also have a picture of him and the whole staff that was taken at the opening of the new office. My condolences to his whole family.

I did not know Robert Larson, but my husband and I knew and loved his son, Chris, way back in the 70's, and I always think fondly of that friendship. My condolences to the family.
Oh, I think we did purchase your housekeeper's turquoise woody 56 Chevy wagon (Minnie's?) at your home on Woodlyn Avenue in Plainfield! It was our first car!!

I truly enjoyed caddying for you at PCC!
Words cannot describe my admiration for you as an individual. Without a doubt you were one of the classiest individuals I've ever met in my life!
I will surely miss you.

I am among the numerous African American women that were encouraged and motivated by Mr. Larson in the late 60's. I worked at Larson Mortgage Company in Plainfield for many years. I credit Mr. Larson with my success today as a Broker/Owner of my own Coldwell Banker Real Estate Company in Plainfield, NJ. He was a fine man deserving of honor.
