ROBERT LIEBERMAN Obituary

LIEBERMAN--Robert. Bob (Robert) Lieberman, 82, passed away on September 28, 2022, due to complications from Alzheimer's. He was surrounded by his adoring family, his wife of 55 years, Ellen (Hoffman), his daughter Allyson and his son Jeremy. Bob was a remarkable man who was adored by everyone he met. He was kind, generous, loving and had a zest for life that was immeasurable. During college he was a drummer with a band in Washington DC, he was a tennis pro, and a sensational rock and roll pianist. He brought excitement and joy to everyone and everywhere he went. He was a creative and innovative genius in knitwear, respected by all in the garment business. He was tireless and had more energy than most. In his business, Guess Knitwear, he was a whirlwind of creativity and had his pulse on the fashion of the day. He was an outstanding chef whose meals delighted all. Bob loved his gardens in Upstate New York, especially those awardwinning tomatoes that he enjoyed distributing to those around him. He was an adoring Grandfather to Owen and Sophie Ackerman, who were the light of his life. He was the favorite Uncle to Rachel, Rob, Jackson and Lily Brous, Joshua, Lisa, Dylan, Alexis and Maya Bilgrei, Candice, Brianne and Jay Comentale. He is survived by his sister, MaryAnn Edelman. Bob brought pleasure and delight to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but constantly talked about and remembered for all the joy and laughter he brought to all of us. Cheers to you Bob! Hope you're enjoying your dry Tanqueray martini.
