ROBERT SPINGARN Obituary

SPINGARN--Robert Michael. On April 7, 2025 our beloved Robert Michael Spingarn of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family including his three children, Austin, Jack and Ella Spingarn, his sister Elizabeth Stanton and his parents Jane and Jim Spingarn. Also present was his former wife Gyneth Spingarn. Rob was a devoted father to his three wonderful children. He was a graduate of Columbia College and Columbia Business School, an avid tennis player and nature photographer. Rob was a larger than life person who was a very respected and well-known securities analyst whose career spanned over 30 years with Salomon Smith Barney, Credit Suisse and Melius Research. He had the honor being named the number one securities analyst in the US, including all industries, by Forbes magazine in 2008. We will greatly miss his enthusiasm, good humor, kindness and presence.

So sorry to hear this. Rob and I met at CTU and we both had CarT treatment. God bless.

My condolences to Rob´s family. I was a long time Wall Street aerospace analyst who competed with him and then became a client when I moved to the buy side. Beyond being a great analyst, he was always just such a nice person. I am sure that his children are so proud of him. He will be missed.
