Sara, good to have such wonderful memories in these strange times. How are you doing? If COVID is ever under control, I look forward to a memorial in Seattle.

I am sorry I am so late responding. I didn't realize Roger was gone. I took Roger's class in the University of Washington extension program. He was such a mentor to me as a person who loves film and photography. His photographs were absolutely amazing. I was one of the lucky ones to be able to view a portfolio he sent around to friends. I got to select one of a NYC street scene in the 50s. It is beautiful and I finally got it framed and up in my studio. My condolences to Sara and family. It is such a loss for the world. I feel privileged to have met Roger and cherished his friendship. My prayers are with you.

I worked for Roger in various filmmaking capacities on many of his productions at King Screen Productions. I never failed to learn something new about him, about filmmaking and producing; but mainly I never failed to learn something about life as well as about myself.
I saw him frequently, along with a mutual friend, at Pacific Northwest Ballet. He possessed a remarkable affinity for great art and great thoughts. I will miss and remember him as one of the most remarkable men I've had the good fortune to have known.

Roger and his wife Sara were very close friends of my husband Richard and me. Both are extraordinary souls, and the loss of Roger is devastating, especially for Sara and his daughters, their husbands, and their grandchildren, and also for all of us in their extended family - First Chamber Dance, Spanish Dance, and much more. This past two years he shared some his photography which captures people and places of all walks of life. Roger is will remain in out hears forever. Richard and I send love to Sara and his whole family.

Sara, you and Roger were a wonderful couple, sharing an enviable partnership. I did not know Roger well, but was aware of some of his accomplishments. Upon reading, I see that there were many more. You are missed, and he will be missed.

I read Roger's obituary in the Seattle Times this morning. I do not know him, but I certainly wish that I had. He was a completely amazing and remarkable person!

Dear Sara, we truly are sorry for your loss. Your Dad was an accomplished man who lived a very rich and full life, and raised an amazing family. He no doubt will always be remembered by his family for the lessons he gave and the love he shared, and friends and colleagues alike will miss his unique brand of expression, his love of film and music, and his laughter.
Cheers to your Dad in Heaven, and to the outstanding legacy that lives in all your hearts. With Love, Wayne Krauss and family.

I was so happy to have known Roger and spent time with him talking politics, music, literature and art. He had a great mind, a sly wit and a sharp artistic eye. He has left us with memories that bring smiles and gratitude.
