ROMAN KENT
KENT--Roman. The Board of Trustees and staff of The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous deeply mourn the passing of its President, Roman Kent. Roman, a Holocaust survivor of the Lodz ghetto, Auschwitz, and the death march, served as a moral compass for the JFR. We will miss his sage advice, compassion, and kindness. Roman will be missed by many; none more so than the Righteous Gentiles whose deeds during the Holocaust he championed for years. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to his family. May his memory be a blessing. Harvey Schulweis, Chairman Mark Goldsmith, Secretary-Treasurer Stanlee J. Stahl, Executive Vice President

"Words can be used for good too" In a time when the ignorant darkness of anti-Semitism keeps creeping back into our lives, we must heed the guidance of Roman - who expressed himself with such warm open-heartedness - ever more seriously. Vale to the strong heart of Roman ❤

I was very saddened to learn about the passing of Roman Kent. Many years ago I worked for him at Stafford/Seaton Textiles. I only have fond memories of him. He was a lovely kind hearted person. May his memory be for a blessing....Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
