RONALD FISCHMAN

FISCHMAN--Dr. Ronald Aaron, passed away peacefully at home with his family beside him on May 16, 2022 in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his loving family: his wife Corazon (Pangilinan) Fischman and father of three children: Dr. Michael Fischman and his wife Dr. Tiffany Fischman, Leslie and Nicole Fischman and grandfather to four grandchildren Naomi, Ilan, Sela, and Micah Fischman, and brother of Daniel Fischman of Long Island, New York. Dr. Ronald A. Fischman, was born on October 11, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Great Neck, Long Island. He was the co-founder of Southland Renal Medical Group in Southern California, and a leading board-certified nephrologist and internist that specializes in kidney disease and transplantation. Dr. Fischman earned his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Columbia University in New York City. Later, he received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Fischman then completed his nephrology training in New York City at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Fischman enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends. Services will be held in his honor on Friday, May 20th at 2pm at Hillside Memorial Park which is located at 6001 W Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90045.
