RONNY GORE Obituary

GORE--Ronny L. Ronny L. Gore, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 29 at Atria Assisted Living in Darien, CT where she had been residing for the past five years -- nine weeks after celebrating her 100th birthday on April 6, 2023. Loving and devoted wife of fashion licensing executive Leo Gore who predeceased her in 1998 and mother of legendary singer Lesley Gore who passed away in 2015, she is survived by her son, composer Michael Gore, son-in-law Lawrence D. Cohen, and her family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Prior to residing at Atria, she and husband Leo lived in Frenchman's Creek in Palm Beach Gardens, FL -- and before that, in Tenafly, NJ. Known for her exuberant happy spirit, sense of humor and huge warmth, she spread joy to all who knew her, and will be hugely missed! Funeral services to celebrate her life will be at Cedar Park Cemetery, the chapel at The Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah, in Paramus, NJ on Wednesday, May 31, at 10:45am. To honor her memory, contributions are welcome to a charity of choice.

I am sending my condolences on behalf of my family. The Fineberg and Gore seniors met regularly when your parents visited Florida. My parents spoke with joy and love of them always.
