Dearest Joan and family,
We are truly sorry for the loss of beloved Roy. Our hearts and minds are ever with you, especially at this most challenging and difficult time in your lives. Knowing him as we did through Rossini and having been honored to sing in your beautiful wedding, we've always thought Roy was an extremely special and unique person - someone you never forgot once you met him. He was warm, loving, and incredibly blessed to have you as his ever-loving wife during the last portion of it, Joan. Roy will surely be missed greatly by many, especially by you. Yet he is now in the best, most beautiful and peaceful place imaginable. We can also take comfort in the knowledge that he's no longer suffering in a sick and broken body, with no quality of life left. I trust we'll all see him again one day, too.
Know that you continue to be uppermost in our thoughts and prayers, dearest Joan and family. We hope you're doing as well as you can right now, and that you take things a day and step at a time.
Sending you much love and deepest sympathy,
Victoria & Bruce
