It was a long time ago, I was a child, when I met Roy. I remember, that his family shared y long friendship with my mother's. My mother (Renate Koch, Bremen) has left this world very long ago.
I faintly remember a young gentleman who had an air of tranquility and quietness about him that felt very sincere and reliable.
It is unsettling that some of us are called far too early in their days. And that it happens so regularly.
All the best to his family.

I never knew Roy personally but always watched him thru the internet. To see that he passed at such a young age shocks me. I feel bad that I never contacted him. Condolences to his entire family.

I was at the English School with Roy in the 1960s when we were youngsters and regularly visited his parent's home in Wassenaar. We kept in touch through his annual letters and it is to my eternal regret that circumstances meant we never met up in later years although we spoke recently on the 'phone. My condolences to his family and friends.

I always looked forward to his Christmas card every year. It was usually the first to arrive. I took the bus (coach, as he called it) with him for a number of years and enjoyed our conversations. He told me that he had the job of his dreams. He was always so kind to me and my family. We are very saddened to hear of his loss. My condolences to his family.

I only met Roy a few times, through my girlfriend Birgit, but I will remember him as a fine gentleman with a quick and sharp wit, a wonderful sense of humor, and a kind and generous spirit. I'll remember the laughter we shared in the small glass-enclosed room at the rear of his house in Wyckoff. His sudden passing, and at such a young age, is a real shock. Rest in peace, Roy.

I had not been in touch with Roy for about a year - so I was shocked to hear of his passing away. I had the privilege to know Roy through our work together with PhRMA in Asia. He had a vast amount of experience - both professionally and of life in general and this made him great company. He was irreverent at times, usually amusing and had great insights to offer. I'll fondly remember the beers that we had together. Lfe will be duller without him.

Roy was a close and dear friend of mine, having known him since he was in his twenties. I am still in shock. We shared many wonderfully funny and entertaining times together. I thank him for the good advice he gave me on many matters and I will miss him terribly.
He couldn't wait to tell everyone how happy he was to be reunited with his daughter Stephanie and relieved at the outcome of his son George's surgery. My sincere condolences to his family.
Roy, I will miss so much our email
exchanges.
