Wise, humane, giving, and extraordinary, Russ Kagan broke the mold for all facets of
international media, and yet never lost focus to the things that really mattered. I had been a childhood friend of his son, Michael, years after my Mom went to summer camp with Russ; both he & my Mom stayed so very close ever since. Am grateful for his generosity of spirit, and tutelage, even as he garnered all types of accolades in all corners of 'the industry.' Am so very sorry, Michael, but hope you feel empowered by all things your father imparted to you.
