SALLY CORY Obituary
of Rye Brook, passed away December 14, 2017, at age 93. She was born May 11, 1924, the daughter of Harry and Evangeline Amols. Sally worked as an interior designer and decorator but she also was a talented dancer and artist. She is the beloved wife of the late, David Cory, and prior to him, Robert Landesman. Sally is survived by her loving children, Lucy Zaro (Jerry), Paul Landesman (Linda) and Peter Landesman (Susan) and six cherished grandchildren. A private funeral service was held. Memorial donations can be sent to Greenwich Hospital.

Sally was the mother of my favorite high school friend and traveling companion, Lucy. Sally´s talent as an artist and interior designer lit up even the darkest of spaces. Sally was happy go lucky and a great mom who produced three very successful and loved children. It was this spirit that attracted her second husband David. They both were very generous and shared a love of people and travel. My last memory of Sally was a luncheon we had at Puerto Banus in Mabella Spain. Unfortunately we never saw each other again but her spirit is greatly missed.
