SAMANTHA PARKER Obituary

PARKER--Samantha,

born Sandra Schickler, passed away on October 14th in Manhattan. As a young woman, Samantha was recruited by the Israeli Defense Forces to work at the Technion Institute of Technology. Later she worked for the United States Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC as a director of philanthropy. Samantha was very successful in her charity work at the museum, and worked with many prominent people, including several U.S. presidents and was honored as a member of the museum's founding staff. Samantha leaves behind a brother Richard Schickler, a sister Joan Rubin, a nephew Douglas Rubin, and a niece Margot Ramsay. In lieu of flowers, donations to any Jewish charity or animal charity are welcome. Services today, October 16th at 11:30am at "The Riverside" 76th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
