SAUL KRAMER Obituary

KRAMER--Saul G., died on September 12 in hospice in Boca Raton at age 87. He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan Shaber, daughter Eileen Kramer, son Harvey Kramer, step daughter Jamie Karlin Kaplan, step grandchildren Max and Lily Karlin and brother Henry. Saul served in the Army ('55-'57) and graduated from Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations ('54) and Law School ('59 With Distinction) where he was the Editor on The Cornell Law Quarterly. On August 3, 1959 Saul joined Proskauer Rose in NYC where he served as the Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Department, coining the moniker "Law and the Workplace" and as a several term member of the Firm's Executive Committee until his retirement in 1998. Saul enjoyed traveling extensively in his later years with Susan, playing golf and spending time with many friends they made in Boca Raton and in the Berkshires where they spent several summers. There will be a celebration of life held in Saul's honor at a later date to be determined.
