SHANUS--Sol, on October 31, 2009 at age 91. Beloved husband for 57 years of Harriet Rohr Shanus. Adoring father of Sarene and Corey. Devoted father-in-law of Harold Treiber and Amy Shanus and the late Phillip Feuer. Cherished grandfather of Rose and Abigail Feuer and Benjamin, Julie, and Maggie Shanus. Beloved brother of the late Helen Cinder, Florence Aibel and Gilbert Shanus. Much loved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. For many years he was the adored patriarch of his family, loved and respected for his integrity, selflessness and glowing smile. Funeral services at 10am Wednesday, November 4 at the Jewish Community Center of Harrison, 130 Union Avenue, Harrison, NY.
