Although I deeply mourn Dr. Nair's death, I shall always remain grateful for his life and friendship. Throughout my 35+ years at Norwalk Hospital, he was a constant source of inspiration, a creator of invaluable patient care resources, and a world leader in critical care medicine--especially his pioneering use of computers to support and promote the health of the most vulnerable sick and injured. Despite his busy schedule, he always had time to respond to the needs and requests of colleagues and patients. Norwalk Hospital is truly fortunate to have attracted and retained such a distinguished, compassionate and innovative physician. I send my heartfelt sympathy and affection to his family, especially to dear Rhoda and to Saras and K. Nair.
