Playing in Joyce Kilmer Park and 163rd St and Sheridan Ave in the Bronx, Stevie was my childhood friend. I have wonderful memories of us playing football, stickball and shooting marbles. He was very kind. I remember his mother Selma and his sister Carol Lee as well. Sorry i lost contact in our early teens, but at least i got to see him in Manhattan around 2013 or so. Rest in Peace, Stevie.

Mr. Swid,
I'll never forget sitting in your Sesac office as a kid, overlooking Central Park with my Father and Warren, thinking you were a superhero. In many ways you were. SBK is the reason I've been in this business of music since 2002, and I always hoped to thank you in person someday. Love and respect.
