I met Steve as a newly minted attorney knocking on doors in the Lincoln building-I was looking for an office share and next thing I know, I´m writing mortgages for NYMC, as the 3rd employee. Steve was a force of nature, sitting next to him and emulating his sales techniques, landed me 13 loans in about 10 days. I use what I learned from Steve every day and was so sad to hear about his untimely passing.
-Huge condolences to his family, friends, colleagues and co-workers.

Sherri -
Still hard to believe Steve is gone. He had seemingly infinite capacity in business, understanding of so many things, and most importantly, human interaction.
I genuinely hope you're able to remember all the great times and use that energy to move ahead.
All the very best to you and the boys.

RIP Steve. I learned more about leadership from Steve than anyone else in my career. He almost instinctually knew how to motivate a team. Truly a great man with incredible drive. I learned so much from him. He will not be forgotten by anyone who´s ever had the pleasure of working with him.
To Sheri, his sons, and extended family my sincere condolences.

Steve was much like a tree. His roots were a foundation of morals and empathy that provided him support and emphasized his nature and relationships to others. Steve was upright, strong and sturdy, even in the occasional tempest. He provided oxygen and inspiration for those around him to breathe and grow. Steve was never one to stop growing - always creative, questioning the status quo and willing to tackle new challenges even if the forest was a crowded conventional wilderness. He provided shade and comfort to his friends and family - listening, advising and providing whatever assistance he could. Many people nested and were welcome among his many branches - a symbiotic and synergetic energy that accomplished so much for those who were lucky enough to know him. I miss you tremendously.

Steve was `a force of nature´ who created new things and built businesses through keen insight, attracting good people, and infusing his own energy into everyone around him. Steve had a relentlessly positive outlook and ability to lead others. My sincere condolences for your loss. Steve is irreplaceable but his great energy and personal qualities leave many positive memories.

My professional relationship with Steven spanned more than 20 years. He knew how to negotiate but had a real soft heart and was quite giving and open minded. He very rarely called me by my full name and almost always called me JJ. A real professional. I will miss his humor, tenacity and that big smile. Rest In Peace and know that he really made a difference. JJ
