SUSAN ASHNER Obituary

ASHNER--Susan. UJA-Federation of New York mourns with profound sorrow the passing of our dear friend Susan Ashner, cherished wife of Michael. Susan's deep devotion to the global Jewish family and passion for bettering the world took shape in her visionary support and unwavering dedication to Beit Ruth in Israel. Her extraordinary leadership and kindness transformed the lives of countless young women at risk, and her towering legacy lives on through Michael and their loving family. Susan was a powerful force for good, and she will be missed. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Michael; their children Samuel, Jessica, Julia, and Leo; and to the entire family. Linda Mirels, President; Marc Rowan, Chair of the Board; Eric S. Goldstein, CEO

I am so deeply sad for the loss of an incredible woman. I met Susan through my job at LP and had the honor of getting to know her all these years. The most kind, generous and funny individual. My thoughts and prayers are with Susan´s family during this very difficult time.
