Thomas Adams Obituary

1954 - 2017
Thomas Adams died on December 18 following a year-long series of illnesses. He was co-owner and co-director of Lennon Weinberg Gallery in Soho and West Chelsea since 1988 with his wife Jill Weinberg Adams and their former partner Bernard Lennon. The gallery is a member of the Art Dealers Association of America. His wry humor, his many talents and an artistic sensibility were invaluable to the gallery's identity and longevity. His absence will be keenly felt by his gallery family of artists and co-workers past and present, and his wider circle of friends and gallery-goers. Tom is survived by his wife Jill and her family, his sister Barbara Rossiter, nieces Tracy Cosentino and Lisa Imhof, and nephew David Parise. Memorial visitation at McLaughlin & Sons, 9620 Third Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209, December 28, 2017 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass for Tom and his brother Michael Adams who predeceased him earlier this year at Our Lady of Angels, 7340 Fourth Avenue, Brooklyn, New York 11209, January 3, 2018 at 10:30 am. Contributions in lieu of flowers to the Sepsis Alliance at sepsis.org.
