I was an associate at Chadbourne in the mid 1970s and worked with Bill on a number of deals. He was always fun and kind though he set high standards for those who worked under him. I will always remember him with a smile.

I am very sorry to learn of Bill´s death. He was a generous law colleague; a worthy tennis opponent; and an enthusiastic fan of law-women´s basketball. My condolences to his family.
