I think that God may have brought Bill here, in part, to show us there are people that you can trust, and should trust. R.I.P. Bill, if you are on another shore now, it could be a nice place. Have some fun there, and God Bless You for who you were here.

It's a terrible piece of news, that Bill has left us. But I think he would not want us to be too glum about it. Actually, he had a quality, I recall, or a personal ability to spread cheer to people. He could be a little cynical sometimes, especially for the sake of a lively conversation, or turn of words or a little bit of a pun perhaps. But he was fundamentally a person who made other people happy. And not everyone is like that. A very unique and special person - I feel grateful to have known him, and thankful for the good cheer he imparted at Hamilton. Also, Bill was a fundamentally good, very dependable, and an honest person. As sharp and engaging as his sense of humor was - he always conducted himself properly, and decently, and respectfully toward other people. Enough so that you really noticed that about him. He was respectful to other people. I guess we only get so much time on this Earth, and I can't help but feel Bill got a bit less than he should have - however he made a real difference to a good number of people in this world, myself included - and I can only say that I feel fortunate and honored to have known him. He loved America, and he really loved New York - just an all around really great person.

The Finn family extends its deepest condolences to the Judson family. It brought a smile when his brother, Steve, told me that he remembered to the end the night he and I had our picture taken with Bruce Springsteen. RIP.

Hi Bill,
Uou will be missed but not forgotten. You were loved by so many of your friends like me from Allen-Stevenson, Hamilton College, Sig and so many other places. We know you suffered for a while and are comforted to know that you are in a better place now.
We have been sharing all kinds of stories from AS days to the 90's and 2000's. Our times going to the MOMA, Central Park, and so many other places will live on forever.
RIP and BSL

RIP Brother William. You brought us cheer and enthusiasm for music and art and in conversation and friendship. Among things, can't go to the MOMA or listen to Pat Metheny without thinking of you.
