1936-2008 Funeral services for Barbara Catherine Boothe, age 71 of Opelika will be Friday, May 23, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at Fredericks Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John Coker and Reverend Ralph Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Garden Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, May 22, 2008, 6-8:00 p.m. at Fredericks Funeral Home. Mrs. Boothe was born September 22, 1936 inMontgomery, AL and died May 19, 2008 in Uriah, AL. She had worked with Whatley Construction as their office manager. Mrs. Boothe was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Boothe, Jr. She is survived by her children, Beth (Sonny) Long, Reverend John (Phyllis) Coker, Sharon Boothe Penley, Bill (Sherry) Boothe and Bob (Rhonda) Boothe; her three brothers, Dixon Allen, James Allen and Robert Allen; her five sisters, Thomasine West, Edna Rankin, Helen Jarrell, Avie Phillips and Judy Brooks; fifteen grand and eleven great grandchildren.
