Bertrand Anz Obituary

Memorial services for Mr. Bertrand M. Anz, Sr., 82, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Reverend Gary Spooner officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Mr. Anz was born June 15, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on October 15, 2006 in Auburn. Mr. Anz is survived by his wife, Doris Anz; one son, Bertrand M. Anz, II; two daughters, Karen Leah Lundelius and Cheryl Maureen Hartis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials can be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church or to your favorite charity. Fredericks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.fredericksfh.com.

I had the pleasure of working with Bert for a few years before he retired from United/Yeargin. I also played golf with him on several occasions. I have many fond memories from those times and events. He will be missed by all of us. My condolences to the family.
