We were to be BJ and Phyllis' new neighbors in Pell City. Actually, we already were and had already shared some great moments with them. There are several but we watched Auburn beat Florida last fall.We all hugged and cheered at the end of the game.We will miss you BJ.It is sure different not seeing you there every day,
God Bless You Phyllis.

During my Amoco Fabrics years at Bainbridge Mills, B.J. was my Plant Manager. B.J. gave me many opporitunities to grow under his management. I consider him to have been a role model to me in terms of leadership both inside the plant and community quality of life. B.J.'s involvement with the YMCA construction made it a reality for my family during our years in Bainbridge. I can say from my heart I am a better person because of B.J. Armistead, Jr.

Our deepest condolences to the Armistead family over your loss of BJ. Kathy and I were quite fortunate and proud to have had the prior work association and experience with "BJA", as he so often signified. I can vividly remember BJ's daily dose of optimism in presenting the challenges to deliver and aspire towards - he was a great motivator. Those growth years within Amoco under BJ's leadership were meaningful and enjoyable, and we were blessed to have such great memories. May God bless you and provide comfort in this time of grief and loss. Brian and Kathy Wetters

Our sincere condolences to the family. We knew BJ as a pilot. He was a very personable fellow whom we enjoyed chatting with when he would bring his plane into our shop at Guardian Aviation Serivces for inspections and maintenance. His angel wings will lift him up to the heavens from now on!

My relationship with B. J. began as business but grew to be a great personal friendship. I will miss the good times we had hunting and fishing and our e-mailing back and forth. My condolences to Phyllis and family.

B.J. was a fellow classmate of mine. I am not surprised that he attained so much during his career in textiles. I am thanking God for his life, and am praying for his family during this difficult time. "'Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens ...'" (Daniel 12:3)

Bryant was one of my favorites throughout school, in the Class of '61. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and was kind to everyone. I remember good things about him, as well as his sister, Ardine. Deepest sympathy to Ardine, as well as Bryant's and Phyllis' children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed at our class reunions.
