Charley Joiner

A private funeral service for Mr. Charley Joiner, 65, of Loachapoka, AL will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Peterson and Williams Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Strickland will officiate.

Mr. Joiner passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at his home. He was a member of Ebenezer CME Church. In 1976, he graduated from Loachapoka High School. Mr. Joiner retired from the Lee County Board of Education where he was employed at Loachapoka High School.

Public viewing will be held Friday from 3:00-5:00 pm.

He is survived by: his wife, Linda Jointer of Opelika, AL; three children, Dalya (Antonio) Wilborn of Beauregard, AL, Donteral (Phyllis) Askew of Loachapoka, AL and Cordero Jointer of Opelika, AL; three grandchildren; a devoted friend, Janice Welch of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
