Elizabeth Harris Obituary
Graveside service for Ms. Elizabeth Jean Harris, 80, of Opelika, AL will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery. Rev. George McCulloh will officiate. Masks are required.
Ms. Harris passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 in Nashville, TN. She was the church secretary and Sunday school teacher. Ms. Harris retired from EAMC.
Public viewing will be held Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm.
She is survived by: a sister, Mrs. Helen (Robert) Timberlake of Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Harris of Florence, AL; cousin, Carl Trimble of Atlanta, GA: nieces, Ms. Michelle Harris and Valerie Trimble both of Birmingham, AL, Ms. Sherry Harris and Mrs. Mishra (Ryan) Keller all of Chicago, IL, Ms. Kysha Timberlake and Ms. Kristi Timberlake both of Nashville, TN; nephews, Mr. Keith Trimble of Nashville, TN and Mr. Ethan Green of Columbus, OH; a host of great niece, great nephew, cousins, church family, and friends.

After Mrs. Jean retired, it didn't seem as if she had truly retired. She was much in demand to come fill in for somone. She would keep us laughing. She was such a sassy, beautiful, smart lady. We who used to work with her are better people for knowing her. God bless the family.
