Your family will always be in our prayers. Derrick was a very special person and a strong soldier who fought a good fight. Even when he was not feeling well he kept that beautiful smile. My girls will miss their "Uncle Derrick"---he was a very special part of our lives. May God bless you and keep His loving arms around your shoulders.

To the Story / Works Family...I would like to extend my sympathy to the all of you. It's hard to say goodbye to such an awesome person whom I considered a great friend. Derrick these pass few days has been extremely hard just to even think about you not being here to sit, joke & laugh at everyone and everything. I'm really going to miss those days, but I will forever dwell on all the great times we enjoyed together just kicking back laughing & eating your favorites (cookies & yoo-hoo's:-). God, my dear friend is entering ur kingdom he's definitely a hand full (full of life, love and laughter) but everyone in heaven is going to love & enjoy him.
