Ryan Kirkland

February 12, 1981 - October 26, 2022

Mrs. Ryan Freeman Kirkland, 41, a resident of Auburn, AL and formerly of Montgomery, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Ryan fought a courageous battle against ovarian cancer for almost two years.

Ryan is preceded in death by her father, Felix Macon, Jr., grandmother Mary Freeman, aunt Susie Freeman, uncle Bart McCorvey, and great-grandparents Thelma and Carl Edgar.

Survivors include husband Jacob, children Grace, Lucas, Alex, Martha Jane, mother and step-father Judi Freeman Reynolds and Marc, sisters Evan McCorvey Davis and husband Drew, Joanna Reynolds, Felicia Macon, Shirley Macon Metcalf, Tee Macon Mallinson, and Jane Macon Wallock. Grandparents Barbara and Bob Duke, Algie and Bill McCorvey Sr. In-laws Laurie and Karl Kirkland, their children Kristen Kirkland, Kale Kirkland (Marjie), Jordan Kirkland, Kara Kirkland (Kevin). Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The service will be Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 100 Church Dr, Auburn, AL. The Rev. Robert H. Blackwell presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ryan Kirkland Memorial Fund at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church or a charitable donation of your choice.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all the family, friends, neighbors, and church family who have supported Ryan and her family every step of the way thru her journey; The Spencer Cancer Center, Compassus Hospice, and Bethany House for their special care of our precious Ryan.

Our sun shines a little less bright, but Heaven is glowing because we are pretty sure all the table decor has been changed to suit what Ryan likes!
