Funeral service for Terrell Morgan, 17, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 24, 2022, at New Spirit Missionary Baptist Church, 3302 Dale Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Reverend Tyrone Edwards, Pastor and Reverend Kenneth Coleman, Eulogist. (Facial covering is required)

Mr. Morgan, who passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, was born February 5, 2005 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required). Mr. Morgan will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

He leaves to cherish his memory: mother, Cynthia Hodge (Monkevin Cobb) of Opelika, AL; father, Brent (Diamond) Morgan of Opelika, AL; three sisters, Tiyaunna Morgan of Auburn, AL, Ava Morgan and Bailey Morgan both of Opelika, AL; one brother, Javion Morgan of Opelika, AL; maternal grandparents, Lee (Carol) Hodge of Auburn, AL and Alice Hodge (Reginald Moffett) of Opelika, AL; paternal grandmother, Diane Morgan of Auburn, AL; six aunts, Brittany Hodge of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ferdesha (George) Winston of Loachapoka, AL, Coretta Hodge, Perneshia Moffett both of Opelika, AL, Christy Alexander of Bessemer, AL and Kwandra Reese of Auburn, AL; four uncles, Damearious Morgan of Auburn, AL, Christopher (Shanika) Hodge of Opelika, AL, Antonio Alexander of Villa Rica, GA and Davoris Banks of Murfreesboro, TN; four special cousins, Jaylen Hodge, Cortavious Hodge, Jahky Hodge and Makel Patrick; godmother, Candace Woods; five special friends, Laadrian Perry, Justin Perry, Chico Perry, Sanbrilla Parker and Alexis Thomas; a host of cousins and friends.
