Tonda Edwards Obituary
Graveside service for Mrs. Tonda Evans Edwards, 64, of Opelika, AL will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Garden Hills Cemetery. Rev. George McCulloh will officiate.
Mrs. Edwards passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Public viewing will be held Monday from 4-6 pm.
She is survived by: eight sisters, Rosie (Lonnie) Sistrunk of Auburn, AL, Mildred Lynch of Opelika, AL, Mary Jean (Larry) Morgan of Loachapoka, AL, Donna Thomas and Regina (Charlie) Pruitt both of Opelika, AL, Brenda Phillips (William) Burris of Atlanta, GA, Charlene Evans of Opelika, AL and Linda Day (Willie) Saxton of Auburn, AL; two brothers, Cecil (Mildred) Day and Walter Lee Sims both of Auburn, AL; two uncles, Lindsey Ingram of Opelika, AL and Charlie Ingram of Dallas, TX: three aunts, Marjorie Barnett of Stockbridge, GA, Ethel Mae Avery of Auburn, AL and Maxine Shelton of Dallas, TX; a great aunt, Enthy Jackson of Opelika, AL; three god-children, Bryant Torbert, King Bryant and Kash Bryant all of Opelika, AL; a special friend, Buronical Greer of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
