William G. Glass Obituary

William G. Glass, 61, of Pleasant Hill, died Thursday, May 7, 2009, at Community Hospital in Tallassee. Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Corbitt's Funeral Home in Tuskegee. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 9, 2009, at Union Christian Church at 2:00 P.M. Rev. Henry Dawson, Rev. James T. Tyson, and Rev. Jeremy Harbin will officiate, and burial will follow in Little Texas Cemetery. Mr. Glass is survived by his wife Cindy Tyson Glass of Pleasant Hill, his sons Derek (Lyn) Glass of Notasulga and Jason (Heather) Glass of Pleasant Hill, his grandchildren Kelsee, Dane, Ari, Jacob and Andrew, his brother Horace Glass of Hickory, N.C., his sisters Beatrice Kellon of Auburn and Chris Glass of Notasulga and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Glass served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
