My Tio Poncho was a great man who will be missed very much. He never met a stranger and always had a great joke for you. He always spoiled me with treats when I visited. I will never forget his kindness, and generosity. My family and I will always be grateful for his support when my daddy was sick. Him and my Tia Frances would come to see him and me every day while he was in the hospital. That meant so much to me. To my Tia Frances and cousins my sincerest condolences. I am unable to be there with you in person but my prayers for strength and comfort are with you now and always. Love you all,

My uncle Poncho, as he was known to his close family, was funny, witty, and always fun to be around. He help my dad when my dad was ill. For this I will always be thankful to him. He will be greatly miss as he was the last of that generation of the Velasco family. May you rest in peace knowing that you were loved by your nieces and nephews.

Your loving niece,
Bernicia Villalobos Thomas

He was a good man. He was a grandfather to me. He treated me no different than Eric. I will miss him. Heaven gained a great man.
