ODESSA - Amy Lynn Hudson, age 46, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, in Odessa, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, July 31, 2022, at West Texas Cowboy Church in Gardendale, Texas, with Pastor Andy Hill officiating. Burial will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, August 1, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. Amy was born in Ely, Nevada to Lane and Linda Rosenlund on December 27, 1975. She graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. Amy attended Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas, where she obtained an associate degree. She worked as a homemaker. Amy married James Clinton Hudson on November 20, 2009, in Odessa, Texas. Amy is survived by her husband, James Clinton Hudson of Odessa, Texas; her three sons, Jonathan Gage Murray of Lubbock, Texas, James Lyman Hudson, and Jacob Clinton Hudson of Odessa, Texas; her sisters, Jennifer Sue Rosenlund of Gardendale, Texas, Melissa Kay Rosenlund of Odessa, Texas; and her parents, Linda Jean Tomlinson of Odessa, Texas, and John Lane Rosenlund of Abilene, Texas. Pallbearers will be James Hudson, Lane Rosenlund, David Hudson, Roger McDonald, Steven McDonald, and Dakota Howard. Amy was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She has touched the hearts of all whom have known her. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
