Amy Tarango

1969 - 2016

ODESSA - Amy (Tovar) Tarango, age 47, of Odessa, TX passed from this life at her residence on Monday, October 24, 2016. She was born in Crane, TX on Thursday, October 2, 1969 to Marcos and Eva (Villareal) Tovar. She was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church since 2004.

Amy was a hairdresser and she owned and operated Amy's Hair Salon since 2005. She was a fighter and she never gave up the battle against Cancer. Amy loved baking, decorating and spending time with family during the holidays.

Those left to cherish her love and memories are her beloved husband of 18 years: Rogelio Tarango of Odessa; two sons: Zackery and Rogelio Tarango Jr, both of Odessa; three daughters: Kalysta Jasmin Tarango of Odessa, Marina Tarango and Maribell Tarango, both of Clovis, NM; Father: Marcos Tovar of Odessa and one sister: Paz Acosta of Odessa, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Eva Villareal Tovar.

Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, officiated by Father Bernardito Getigan. A meal will be served at the Parish Hall after the service. Interment will follow at Odessa Gardens II section of the Ector County Cemetery.
