Bennye Van Cleave Obituary
She was born on March 6, 1932 in Greenville, TX to Earnest and Nettie Brown. She worked as an Administrator for 26 years and retired from Stewart Stevenson Services. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an outgoing and loveable person and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Bennye is survived by her husband Lloyd L. Van Cleave; Sons: Jackie Green and wife Rhonda, and Ricky Green both from Odessa. Four grandchildren: Tina Clay, Shelby Green, Jennifer Debes, & Crystal; and eleven great-grandchildren: Jacob, Gage, Taylor, Samantha, Cody, Cooper, Benjamin, Braden, Abigail, Brooklyn, and Caitlan. She is also survived by nephew Bob Van Cleave, niece Denise Van Cleave, brother-in-law Carol L. Van Cleave, and numerous friends.
The Family will receive friends on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 10am at Mission Dorado Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Bratcher officiating. Burial will be at Drummond Cemetery in Abilene, TX.
Services are entrusted to Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.

Benneye, Benneye, Benneye. You taught me so much, but there was much you could not teach me, like how to have as much class, poise, patience and grace as you had. If only we could have had one more talk; one more laugh; shared one more memory -- like the night I cried because I just could not learn how to play dominoes. lol I loved you so much. I hope you knew that. Thank you for loving my baby girl and for being her Nonnie and thank you for standing in for my mother at Devin's wedding. That meant so much to him and to me.

Jackcie and Rick, I don't think the first message I wrote got posted. Just wanted to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your mother was one of the most beautiful and kind ladies I have ever know. Always smiling, always friendly and always an encouraging word.
