Charles Owsley Obituary

Corsicana - Charles Rayburn Owsley (RAY) was born September 3, 1945 in Haleyville, Alabama where he was raised by Tommy Foster and Irene Carden Foster. Crossed over to be with our Lord and Savior September 28, 2024, surrounded by family.

Ray was a pilot, Vietnam Veteran Air Force- SSGT, and avid motorcyclist. He rode all over the country, had a love for horses and life itself. He retired from Wagner Supply, Odessa, TX. To know Ray was to love him! Ray cherished his family and put everyone's needs before his own. You couldn't help but to laugh and smile when he was around and hearing all his wonderful jokes. He loved to teach any and every one about anything they wanted to learn. Ray was one of the smartest and strongest men you would ever encounter. In the Air Force he was a meteorologist. He always said, "I am probably the only person to have a minor in meteorology and a major in business" and "I am a lucky and blessed man always in the right place at the right time".

Proceeded in death: his mother Irene Carden, dad Tommy Foster, sister Yvette Owsley, brothers Robert Owsley and George Foster and sons Tony Owsley and Chris Owsley.

Left to cherish his memory: wife Misti Owsley of Corsicana, TX, Children Michael Owsley of Corsicana, TX, Tricia Owsley of Bonney Lake, WA, KaRissa Furr (husband Zach) of Corsicana, TX and Brody Hines of Corsicana, TX, Brothers David Foster (wife Susan) of Arlington, TX, Doyle Foster (wife Melanie) of Georgia, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
