Don Woods Obituary

PECOS Don E. Woods, age 76, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at his residence in Pecos.

He was born August 30, 1931, in Midland. He spent his childhood in Van Horn, Texas, and Barstow, Texas, having graduated from Barstow High School in 1949.

He married Gloria Ann Wright of Van Horn, October 31, 1952, in the First Presbyterian Church in Alpine, Texas. To this union were born four children.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, son, Donald Craig Woods, and son, David Woods.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Woods of Pecos, one son, Clay Woods of Abilene, one daughter, Becky Wein of Pecos, grandchildren, Craig Wein of Flower Mound, Becca Wein of San Antonio, Sara Wein of Pecos, Michelle Wein of Midland, Michael Wein of Pecos; and one great-grandchild, Jordan Wheeler of Midland.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home, 607 W. 3rd St. Pecos, Texas, with Rev. Greer Willis officiating Services entrusted to Pecos Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the church or charity of your choice.
