Elisa Guzman Obituary
She was born April 28, 1943 in Rotan, TX to Alberto and Jesusa Morales.
She married Manuel Guzman July 22, 1967 in Odessa.
She was employed by Asbury United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Jesusa Morales; brothers, Benny, Jessie and Alberto, Jr. Morales; and nephew, Felix Garcia Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel Guzman of Odessa; daughters, Yvonne Anaya and husband Elias and Diana Guzman all of Odessa; brothers, Alex Morales and wife Sylvia of Sweetwater, Robert Morales and wife Jana of Rotan, Augustine Balerio and wife Cathy of Midland, Alfredo Balerio of Houston, Alejandro Balerio and wife Mary Helen of Corpus Christi; sisters, Sandra Garcia and husband Felix of Abilene, Alice Morales, Trena Morales, Angel Velez and husband George all of Rotan; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
We would like to give special thanks to Hospice House and Medical Center Hospital staff for the wonderful care they gave to our Mother. We would also like to thank all our family and friends for their support during this difficult time.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008 at Hubbard- Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at Asbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Evans officiating. Interment will follow at RoseHill Cemetery
Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

It's almost been a year since you were called home, and I didn't know you were gone.How sad it must have been for your family and friends to see you leave.I MISSED YOU in life and now I will miss you even more.Thank you for being my friend and I will forever remember you.My prayers are with you and all your family especially your girls and all your grandkids!! until we meet again.....love

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Elisa. I remember the good times we all had when she worked with us at Everybody's. May God bless you all and comfort you now and always.
