Greg Weaver

ODESSA - Greg Weaver, age 61, passed away at his home in Odessa on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. James was born to the late Billy Jack and JoAnn (Jones) Weaver on August 27, 1961 in Andrews, TX. He owned Spearman Radiator.

An avid Harley rider, Greg loved to go fast. He was very active in drag racing and enjoyed fishing and water skiing. He also enjoyed cooking and eating, and would cook at any hour of the day. He had a crazy personality and loved to joke around an do pranks. An amazing gatekeeper, he took care of everyone. Greg was member of Zion Christian Church and did so much for his church family. He was loving and generous and will be sorely missed.

Those who precede him in death include his parents: Billy Jack and JoAnn Weaver; brother: Billy Roger Weaver; and grandparents: Jack and Vie Weaver, Susie Woolwine, and Wade McMillin.

Those left to cherish his love and memory include his sisters: Deby Crawford and husband Joe, and Tammy Bishop; sister-in-law: Smylie Weaver; nieces: Mandi Coppock and husband Nathan, Hayli Marshall and husband Bryant; nephews: Zack Crawford and wife Brittany, and Dylan Bishop and wife Elisabeth; several great-nieces and numerous other cousins, family and friends.

The family will receive friends and host visitation at Acres West Funeral Chapel on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
