MCCAMEY - Jennifer Elaine Herron, 32, passed away on August 31, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday September 16, 2017 at Eastside Baptist Church in McCamey, Texas located at 619 E 9th St. officiated by Morris Brooks of Midland, Texas. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane, Texas.

Jennifer was born on March 19, 1985 in Odessa, Texas to Herb and Kathy Herron.

Jennifer graduated from McCamey High School in 2003 as a member of the National Honor Society and the Gifted and Talented Program. She was chosen to be her Senior class keynote speaker. Jennifer attended Angelo State University where she graduated with her Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Education. Her teaching career began in Fort Stockton, Texas, at Alamo Elementary School, where she taught 1st Grade. She had a passion for teaching and loved every student that walked into her classroom. Jennifer was blessed to teach with her Mother and Sister in the same district.

Her sense of humor and her love of pranks were never ending. She loved singing whether she was in a car, karaoke, or in the living room. Her favorite artist, to name a few, were Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Britney Spears. Her love of family time was very important to her and was always filled with endless laughter. Her special joy was the birth of her daughter, Jenessa Elaine, who was born on Mariah Carey's birthday, which made Jennifer elated. She loved Jenessa very much, and will live on in her heart.

Welcoming her into heaven with love are her precious relatives: Great-Grandmother Rosa Notgrass, Great-Grandfather James 'Gee' Notgrass, Special Great-Aunt Janice Notgrass, Grandpa Roland Ramsey, Papa Albert Herron, Uncle Eddie Herron.

She is survived by her daughter, Jenessa Elaine Herron, Jenessa's dad, Tracy Pruitt of San Angelo, TX, father, Herb Herron of Fort Stockton, TX, mother Kathy Herron, sister, Krystal Herron both of McCamey, TX; grandparents, Bill and Lynn Blackburn of San Angelo, TX, Gatha Herron of Odessa, TX, Brenda Richardson of Midland, TX; Aunt Mandy and Uncle Randy Brooks of McCamey; Uncle Ronnie Ramsey of Las Vegas, NV; Aunt Fredia and Uncle Joe Bassham of Baytown, TX; Uncle Ricky Herron, Aunt Susie Herron, Uncle Mike and Aunt Terri Herron, Uncle Wayne and Aunt Jean Herron, all of Odessa, TX; numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
