John Harber Obituary

ROBERT LEE John E. Harber, age 86, of Robert Lee, TX, was reunited with his beloved wife on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. He was born on October 22, 1926, in Moran, TX, to Newton Charley and Rose Eva (Collingsworth) Harber.
John was a member of the Moran Masonic Lodge No. 863 and was a 32 degree Free Mason. He was a hard working man who was very devoted to his job. John loved fishing, music (Ray Price was amongst his favorites) and gardening. He had a green thumb and could grow anything. He was nicknamed "Father Daddy" by his children and "Jelly Bean" by his uncle. John was a great husband, father, brother and grandpa and will be missed dearly by all the lives he touched.
John is survived by his two sons: Tom Prichard and wife Beverly of Robert Lee, TX, and John Prichard and wife Beth of Loving, TX; one sister: Olivena Allbritton of Trout, LA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Preceding John in death was his wife of 48 years: Peggy Jo (Pierce) Harber; his parents: Newton and Rose Harber; and his brother: Charley Harber.
A family visitation is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2013, at Kermit Cemetery in Kermit, TX, officiated by Bro. Dudley Mullins.
Arrangements are entrusted to Family Services Funeral Parlor and online condolences may be sent at fs-fp.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Robert Lee Care Center, 307 W. 8th Street, Robert Lee, TX 76945.
