Jose Joe Babe Jasso Munoz

ODESSA - Jose, Joe, Babe Jasso Munoz passed away July 05, 2021 peacefully in the arms of his beloved Carrie, wife of 13 years and went to be with his Lord and Savior. He was 79 years old.

He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Ruben, many nieces, nephews and many precious and treasured brothers and sisters in the Lord. Thank you for the sustaining prayers.

Special thanks to those that cared for us in his last days: Rudy, Veronica and the boys, Max and JoAnn, Alonzo, Miguel, Mary, Val Jr, Delores, Cody, Vickie and especially our families...we have been abundantly blessed with so many-you know who you are...thank you all so much!

Jose's life will be celebrated from 7-9 PM on July 8, 2021 at the local church of Odessa at 2224 I-20 and also on Zoom. You may email Cruz917@gmail.com if you want to attend via Zoom and the link will be provided.

Jose's greatest honor was to be able to say he was a believer in Christ Jesus and that he had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

For those who knew him you knew his heart and his living was for the Lord. How his sweet smile would light up his face when he shared about Jesus. He was a living testimony of what a change the Lord made in his life. His calling on the Lord brought him the greatest joy and peace. O Lord Jesus!!

He was a quiet and gentle man who loved the Lord immensely and spent many a night on his knees beside his bed praying and I'm sure he prayed for some of you reading this.

Some of his favorite verses were:

Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun in you a good work will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus."

Romans 10:13 "For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Dear, You fought the good fight and finished your course. Amen and Amen!!
