LaDonna Walters Obituary
She was born December 5, 1968 in Odessa, Texas to Dale and Carla Walters, and was a 1987 graduate of Odessa High School.
LaDonna worked as a dispatcher for the Odessa Police Department, as a nail tech, an answering service operator and a customer service representative for Tel Vista. For the past two years she was an independent consultant for Scentsy.
As a child of a pipeliner she lived in numerous states. Although LaDonna was confined to a wheelchair, she was a free spirited person. She was an excellent cook and drove herself wherever she wanted to go. Her handicap was never her concern; it was the needs of her family and friends that always came first. LaDonna knew no stranger; she had the gift to gab!
She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Walters and her grandparents.
Survivors are her mother, Carla Walters and her husband Teddy of Odessa; brothers, Allen Walters and wife Shawna, Danny Walters and wife Tammy of Odessa; nephews, Keith Walters and companion Kaytee, and Randy Walters; niece, Amanda Walters; great nephew, Samuel Walters; and great niece, JoAnn Reylea Ramos. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
Memorials can be directed to the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the Sunset chapel.
LaDonna's family will bear her to her resting place next to her father; Allen Walters, Danny Walters, Randy Walters, Keith Walters, Ronnie Walters, Cecil Patterson, and Samuel Walters.

Ladonna will be greatly missed, I remmember a little girl running and playing with us in Casper, WY as our dads worked as pipeliners. My heart goes out to the family.

To the Walter's family...I am so sorry for your loss. LaDonna was one of a kind. She was truly an Angel in lots of people's hearts. It is sad to say but just know that she is in a better place and away from all the cruelness in this world we live in today. She was a good friend and will be greatly missed. We are so sorry for your loss. I know Donna was a wonderful person, she and I had lots of fun together. I know she is now having fun with Jesus. Whatever the situation may have been, LaDonna certainly had the gift of letting you know she really cared. She was that way all through high school and she never changed. My deepest sympathy to Carla and the rest of the family. She was a strong girl and fought hard and I see where she got tht from. You all's strength and support as a family is amazing and that along w God and prayer will see yall thru this.
