Linda Holland Obituary
Linda is preceded in death by her Father , Hubert Austin Willis, Mother, Crystal Eloise Willis (Dawson), Sister, Betty LaMonica and husband Tom, Sister Patsy Sweeden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda is survived by her Daughter Michele Martinez (Carl Rice) of Odessa, Sister Edna Green, Cousin Mary Lou Cassidy, Niece Jan Green all of Midland, Niece Patrice Preston of Katy, Texas, Niece, Patricia Phillips of Medford, Oregon Granddaughter Samantha Long (Rayford Long) of Houston, Granddaughter Taylor Mullins (Marshall Mullins) of Odessa, Grandson Anthony Vickery (Nakita Vickery) of Amarillo and their father Ric Vickery of Odessa, and her three Great-Granddaughters, Amberlyn, Hadley and Audrey.
Born in Tyler, Texas on December 29th, 1935, Linda was the youngest of four sisters. She was a single mother and raised her daughter, Michele, on her own while working for Texas Instruments. When she became a grandmother (Nani) she spent her life loving and caring for her three grandchildren, raising them along side their parents. A long time Elvis fan, her favorite memory was meeting Elvis in Midland and loved to brag about getting a kiss on the cheek from the King himself. Linda will be missed by so many, but her legacy lives on through those who cherished and loved her.
The family would like to thank Visiting Angels, especially her caretakers Linda, Gloria, Ola and Easter.
Medical Center Hospital Staff, Nurses, Doctors and Hospice.
Dr. Fernando Boccalandro for the amazing care of Linda's heart.
Dr. Renuka Borra for getting Linda through two previous cancers.
Griselda Mendez for loving Linda like family and always making certain she looked beautiful at all times.
Services will be at 11:00 am on September 24th, 2022 at American Heritage Funeral Home.
The family is grateful for all of the calls, texts, prayers, and outpouring of support during this difficult time.
