Melissa Lam Obituary
Melissa was born in Midland, TX on September 26, 1967 to Fred F Penix & Jerry L Stacy. She graduated from Midland Christian High School in 1986. She was married to Daniel Lam for 19 years and they were blessed with 1 daughter together. Melissa worked at Neal Pool Rekers for 17 years.
She loves gardening, scrapbooking and frequent trips to Hobby Lobby. She was always willing to help anyone in need even if it meant giving up all she had. Melissa will be remembered for her big heart & sense of humor. In her words 'Always be nice to your friends'. Melissa is survived by her only daughter, Aspen Lam, her mother Jerry Stacy, brother Steve Hillard, sister Rebecca Bowen & multiple nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her father, Fred Penix & sister Kathy Shewmake. Steve Perkins, Nathan Roe, Andrew Watkins, Quentin McKee, Angel Duenas & Fabian Velasco will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Lam, Douglas Craft, Rodney Salcido & Mike Pool.
The Lam family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Ellis Resthaven Cemetery of Midland.
