Natalia Torres Obituary

ODESSA Natalia "Naty" Torres, of Odessa, passed away on March 5th, 2015 in Odessa Texas.

Prayer service will be at 7 PM Sunday March 8th, 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home.

Rosary will be at 7PM Monday March 9th 2015 at Martinez Funeral Home in Odessa Texas.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Chavez of St Josephs, officiating. Burial will follow at Ector County Cemetery. Arrangements are done by Martinez Funeral Home.

Natalia was born in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico to Petra Marufo and Enrique Lincon on December 1st 1950. She went to school in Presidio, Texas. She married Gilberto Z Torreson April 4th, 1984. In Ector County Courthouse. She was a woman trades and a homemaker. She became an American Citizen which was her a life time goal. She loved all children, had positive energy and extremely funny character. She never had a dull moment. She was a mother, grandmother and friend to everyone that would come to her. Nothing made her happier than having everyone in her home playing and laughing. The word stranger was not in her vocabulary but she loved to make new friends every day and everywhere.

Natalia was preceded in death by her Mother Petra Marufo Aguilar, her father Enrique Lincon, her brothers Alvaro Marufo and Jesus "Jesse" Aguilar, her sister Adela Morales and several nieces and nephews.

Natalia is survived by her husband Gilberto Torres, her daughter Alicia Marufo Chavez, her son Mario Argueta, her son-in-law Villado Chavez, daughter-in-law Monica Argueta, her grandchildren Kandida Rodriguez, Christina Saenz, Christian Saenz, Mason Prieto, Ezequiel Chavez, Mario "Avery" Argueta, her great grandchildren Kanleeya, Gerald "Bruce", Spencer Rodriguez and Lisandro, Abdiel Flores-Saenz. Along with her brothers Francisco (Franky) Ahuilar, Ricardo Aguilar sisters Prisiliana (Prissy) Morales and Socorro Chavez Pallbearers will be Mario Argueta, Christian Saenz, Gerald Rodriguez, Robert Chavez, Jesus "Penguin" Aguilar and Jerry Chavez.

The family of Natalia wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Star Care Hospice and Medical Center Staff, A very special thanks to Dr. Larry Oliver, Dr. Chau Lee, Dr. Anand Reddy and the Desert Milagro Staff for giving us the gift of having her for many years.

Thank everyone for prayers, food, flowers, phone calls and to all our companions who have been there during our time of need.
