Peggie Snyder Obituary
Peggie worked several years for the Texas Attorney General's Child Support office before switching gears to store management until the loss of her eyesight and health issues left her disabled.
Peggie is survived by her daughters, April Dominguez and Ashly Snyder, as well as her sons-in-law Robert Dominguez and Josephe Samberg. She was a proud grandmother to Henry Dominguez, Koda Dominguez, Jace Samberg, and Nicole Samberg. She is also survived by her sisters, Loretta Hartsell, Deana Glenn, and Amanda Mitchell, along with seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Chambers, Her brother Sam Brock and sister Elisabeth Mitcham.
Born right in the middle of 7 kids, Peggie had a classic case of middle child syndrome and learned to use her cute, freckly, cheeky smile to get her and her partner in crime, her brother Sam, out of trouble on many occasions.
She loved her family but was particularly close all through childhood to her brother Sam who was only a year younger than her. She never really recovered from the loss of her brother and carried the loss of him, then her mom and sister with her through the remainder of her life.
Although Peggie was loved and will be deeply missed, those who knew her take comfort knowing she finally has the peace and comfort in her afterlife she never quite found here on Earth.
Peggie's family would like to give a special thanks to PermiaCare, RainbowHouse, her Heart to Heart home health nurse Georgina who took such loving care of her the last year and Heart to Heart Hospice who stepped in at the end helping the family through the final weeks of her long battle with her health.
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 3pm at Vine Baptist Church at 2200 W 22nd st Odessa, Tx. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Permian Basin Crisis Center or The RainbowHouse.
