Timothy Beadles Obituary

ODESSA Timothy Ryan Beadles, of Dallas, Texas, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, March 7, 2009, in Dallas, Texas.

Tim was born on April 8, 1983, in Odessa, Texas, the third of three sons of Bonnye and James Beadles.

He spent his formative years in Odessa, Texas, and graduated from Permian High School (honors) in 2001. Tim was active in tennis, choir and debate while attending Permian. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Odessa. Tim graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2006, earning a B.A. and M.S. in Accounting. While at Texas Tech, he met his future wife Amanda Diane Worley. They were married June 21, 2008, in Dallas. Tim moved to Dallas in May of 2006 to work for KPMG, an accounting firm. First Baptist Dallas became his new church home shortly thereafter.

Tim came to know Christ as his personal savior early in life, and his relationship with the Lord was evident to all who knew him. Tim loved life, loved his family, loved others and most importantly loved the Lord. His compassion and servant's heart touched the lives of many. Those who knew him were enriched immeasurably by his life.
Tim loved his alma mater and was a Red Raider in every sense imaginable. His enthusiasm for Texas Tech and its sports teams was contagious. He loved being outdoors. Tim took many trips into New Mexico and Colorado scaling mountains, riding rapids and skiing. He was gifted musically and often led others in praise and worship.

Tim is survived by his wife Amanda D. Beadles, also of Dallas, his parents Bonnye F. and James R. Beadles of Odessa. He is also survived by his brothers Christopher A. Beadles and his wife Meredith of Durham, North Carolina, and Jeremy N. Beadles and his wife Kristine of Great Falls, Montana. In addition, he is survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Karen and Paul Worley of Lake Jackson, Texas, and two nieces Jadyn and Haley Beadles of Great Falls, Montana.

If you wish to honor the life of Tim with us, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the environmental charity of your choosing. Services will be held at First Baptist Church Odessa on Thursday March 19, 2009, at 11 a.m.

I had many accounting classes with Tim at Texas Tech. It didn't take long to realize he was a wonderful person. My thoughts are with your family.

Bonnye, I am so sorry for Tim, for Amanda, for you and Jim, for Christopher and Jeremy, for the many folks who loved Tim, and for the possibilities that will never be.

Your family has faced grief too many times to not know how dark the Valley of the Shadow can be - but I trust in the Lord and all who love you to help you and your family make this unwanted journey.

I am willing to share your journey if you wish - though it will be the Lord who carries us both. I can tell you that it is possible to come out of the "Valley", to take joy in a new day, and to laugh again. I figure that Scott was among those who greeted Tim as he he went home.

May the Lord wrap you in His comfort.

Bonnye,
We are so sorry to hear about Tim. He was such an outstanding young man. I know you were very proud of all he had accomplished. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Wish we could be there but we are out of town. Erika just had a new daughter March 15. We are still in Dallas with her.

We will keep you in our prayers.

Tim,
Was an outstanding young man.
I had the honor of being one of his tennis coaches. He stood tall and always had a smile on his face.
My prayers are with the family.
Love,
