Yolanda Ordonez Obituary

MONAHANS Yolanda Saenz Ordonez, 64, of Monahans passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans. She was born on April 28, 1944 to Pedro and Barbara (Gonzales) Saenz and was raised by Pablo and Barbara Valles. Yolanda was a homemaker.


She was very involved in any or all political parties in Ward County and also liked to help in the community with weddings and various events.


Services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the St. John Catholic Church in Monahans with interment following at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery. A rosary is also set for 7 pm on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the St. John Catholic Church. Services are under the direction of Harkey Family Funeral Services.


Survivors include her husband, Henry Ordonez of Monahans; 4 sons, Paul Ordonez and wife Mary of Monahans, Frank Ordonez and wife Paula of Honey Grove, Anton Ordonez and fiancé Yesenia Mancha of Monahans, and Baldemar (Pee Wee) Leal III and wife Stacy of Monahans; a daughter, Sindy Fuentes and husband Oscar of Monahans; her mother, Barbara Valles of Monahans; 2 brothers, Pablo Valles of Monahans and Joe David Saenz of San Angelo; 4 sisters, Gloria Vijil or Burleson, Elsa Valles of Monahans, Irene Dominguez of Odessa, and Amelia Sanchez of Monahans, 15 grandchildren, Stacie Gaddis and husband Nathan, Timmy Fuentes, Ray Ordonez, Jessica Ordonez, Preston Ordonez, Marisa Ordonez, Briana Ordonez, Devon Ordonez, Abury Ordonez, Lucas Ordonez, Brooklin Ordonez, Allison Leal, Bodey Leal, Caden Leal, and Macey Leal. She was preceded in death by her father, Pedro Saenz, and stepfather Pablo Valles.
